Slated to come out on December 1st, 2006, Allons Boire un Coup: Cajun and Creole Drinking Songs will be at times dark, at times raucous, and mostly both. Assembled under the artistic direction of Josh Caffery, a carefully selected group of talented Louisiana artists will record a group of songs that contribute to the humor and lore of a darker aspect of Cajun culture. Packaging will feature the art of Louisiana’s Claire Oliver and Internationally respected photographer Debbie Fleming Caffery (that’s her photo accompanying this post at left, see more on her website at debbieflemingcaffery.com).
