If you haven’t heard about these guys, you’ve been living in the woods - which is entirely possible for Cajun music fans, so we can’t really blame you.
After a Grammy nomination and lots of great international press from their last album, Blues de Musicien, the Pine Leaf Boys got the notice of Jay Faires over at Lionsgate Entertainment, who signed them up to create their newest masterpiece, Homage au Passé.
We got the exclusive on some of their new tracks in our latest Artist of the Month feature!

Valcour Records November Artist of the Month: the Pine Leaf Boys

Its a series of tubes.
You may have noticed our website is looking a little funny right now - but don’t worry! Everything is working fine. The navigation has moved over to the side and the images aren’t where they used to be etc., but you can still listen to our artists of the month and purchase cd’s and merchandise. Over the next day or two (hopefully not longer) we will be tweaking and formatting the site to optimize functionality and to once gain look good.
Please be patient with us! We wil have things working better than ever in no time.

Feufollet on NPR!
Listen to the story right here.
And the follow up story on Feufollet and Boudin is here.
NPR’s Melissa Block came down to Louisiana where her and her crew enjoyed an evening of Cajun music and dancing. Turns out she’s a big fan of the sound and quite the Cajun dancer too! Feufollet jammed and interviewed for her, and Cedric Watson and Joel Savoy showed up to join in the party.
Good times ensued and parts of it were recorded in audio.
Well, Monday afternoon (Nov. 17th), we’ll see/hear what of that makes it on the air when NPR’s All Things Considered does a short feature on Feufollet’s Cow Island Hop! Listen if you can, and if you can’t, we’ll be posting the link to the audio archive as soon as it becomes available - so check back.
