We are delighted to announce thatValcour Records has teamed up with Festivals Acadiens et Creoles and theArchives of Cajun and Creole Folklore at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to make available for the first time ever selected performances from Louisiana’s largest Cajun and Creole music festival. In this inaugural release, The Best of Festivals Acadiens et Creoles 2002, you’ll hear spirited live performances by some of the biggest names in Cajun and Creole music today, including Wayne Toups, Steve Riley, Jo-El Sonnier, Balfa Toujours and more! We have plans to release many more of these “Bootleg” albums featuring your favorite Louisiana artists live on-stage, including entire sets by a single artist.
